Cyberbullying is when peers are harassed, threatened, or degraded via digital platforms (such social media, messaging applications, or online gaming). Because it takes place online rather than in person, it is more difficult to avoid because it might persist after school hours.


Important Features About Cyberbullying

1. Persistent: The victim of cyberbullying may be reached anywhere, at a lossny time.
2. Permanent: It's challenging to take down information uploaded online.
3. Anonymous: It can be difficult to spot bullies because they can hide behind phony accounts.



Effect on Students 

- Psychological discomfort (depression, anxiety)
- Difficulties at school
- Social disengagement or seclusion.
